Popular Nigerian singer and actress, Simi has called out the organizers of the 2021 MOBO Awards after they publicized their nominee list.

Taking to the blue bird app, the “Woman” crooner quizzed the organizers why her hubby and singer, Adekunle Gold wasn’t nominated in the category of the ‘Best African Music Act’ with acts likes of Davido, Ckay, Tems, Rema, Wizkid, Ayra Starr and others.

According to Simi, she is hoping MOBO’s tweet in regards to the nominations list is wrong, because she is confident her husband is supposed to be on that list.

Her post sparked reactions on social media  as users debated on it. Some said that singers like Ayra Starr, Ckay and Rema don’t deserve the nomination while others opinioned that Davido and Tiwa Savage stole AG baby’s spot.
