Osinachi’s Death Update: ‘I didn’t kill my wife, she died of lungs cancer’ – Late Singer, Osinachi’s husband cries out [Details]

Peter Nwachukwu, the embattled husband of late gospel singer, Osinachi, has said that she died of lung cancer.

The suspect said this on Friday, June 3, shortly after he was arraigned before a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory on a 23-count charge that bordered on culpable homicide.

The defendant, whose wife allegedly died as a result of prolonged assault by him, pleaded not guilty to all the allegations that were contained in the charge the Federal Government preferred against him.

Following Nwachukwu’s plea of innocence, Justice Njideka Nwosu-Iheme, in a short ruling, ordered his remand at the Kuje Correctional Centre, even as she adjourned the case till June 16 and 17 for trial.

Recall that Osinachi died on April 8, 2022 after spending some time on life support.
In reaction to the ugly incident that led to her death Senior Pastor of the Revival Assembly Church Lagos, Anselm Madubuko, had said religion killed the Ekwueme crooner.

Since her death, there have been allegations that she died as a result of gender-based violence (GBV) perpetrated by the husband.

Taking to his official Facebook page on Monday April 11, Pastor Madubuko also predicted more separations and divorces among couples.

“Religion killed Osinachi”, he wrote. Adding, ” Eisssssh..Coming soon. Separations and Divorces…Brace up guys. So help us dear Lord!. As long as we believe that knowing Jesus alone is not enough for heaven, people will keep dying out of fear.”
