Real Madrid are set to rekindle their interest in Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea and Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard next summer, according to Don Balon .

The Liga giants have pursued both players for some time now and are ready to splash the cash in 2018 in order to get long-awaited deals done.

NO OZIL TALKS SINCE FEBRUARY
Arsenal and Mesut Ozil have not held any talks regarding a new contract for the playmaker since February, according to Sport Bild .
Ozil is out of contract at the end of the season and was previously discussing a new deal worth around €9 million per season.

However, since Arsenal broke off negotiations earlier in the year due to uncertainty over manager Arsene Wenger’s future, the talks have not resumed.

HODGSON PROMISED £40 MILLION
New Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has been promised £40 million in transfer funds for the January window to save the club from relegation, according to the Daily Star .

Hodgson, who was appointed Tuesday to replace Frank de Boer, also has been guaranteed he will be able to reinvest any additional funds generated by player sales in the winter window.

MADRID WATCHING CITY FORWARD
Real Madrid are tracking the progress of Manchester City’s teenage forward Brahim Diaz, according to OK Diario.

The Spain Under 21 international impressed during pre-season for City and scored against Madrid in the ICC tournament in the United States.
With Madrid on the look-out for the best teenagers in football, Diaz, who can play out wide or in the no.10 role, has emerged as a target.

LIVERPOOL LOOK AT DE VRIJ
Liverpool are weighing up a move to sign Lazio defender Stefan de Vrij next summer in addition to a fresh approach for Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk, claims Calciomercato.com, via the Daily Mirror .

De Vrij is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to agree fresh terms, with Borussia Dortmund, Lazio and Juventus also reportedly keen on the centre-half.

ATLETICO CLOSE ON COSTA
Atletico Madrid are hopeful of striking a deal to re-sign wantaway Chelsea striker Diego Costa this week, according to Marca .

The report claims both clubs are in talks now that Costa is ready to return to Europe after initially refusing to leave Brazil.

ARSENAL STILL ON JANKTO TRAIL
Arsenal are continuing to follow the progress of Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto, according to
Calciomercato.com .

AC Milan and Juventus are also showing an interest in Jankto, who has previously expressed a wish to play in the Premier League.

BARCA TO BID AGAIN FOR SERI
Barcelona are set to make a fresh approach to sign Nice midfielder Jean-Michael Seri during the January transfer window, reports Sport .

Seri was left disappointed when Barca failed to push ahead with a proposed €40 million summer deal due to their pursuit of Philippe Coutinho and Angel Di Maria, but the Catalan club retain an interest in signing the Ivory Coast international.

MADRID PLAN ATTACKING OVERHAUL
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has begun planning a major attacking overhaul at Santiago Bernabeu, according to Don Balon .

Perez is willing to sell Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale to help fund a big summer of spending, with Arsenal and Manchester United respectively keen.

And the Blancos will use the money to bring Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann and Juventus's Paulo Dybala to the club to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

PALACE TO GIVE HODGSON £1M SURVIVAL BONUS
Crystal Palace are expected to name Roy Hodgson as the club's next manager on a two-year contract worth £2.5 million a year, with a £1m-plus survival bonus, according to the Mirror.

Palace parted ways with Frank de Boer on Monday, and Hodgson quickly became the front-runner to fill the open position.

According to the report, the Eagles had feared Hodgson was "mentally scared" after his England side lost to Iceland at last year's Euros, but he made it clear he's ready to return.

MAN UTD READY £100M GRIEZMANN BID
Manchester United are willing to splash £100 million to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann next year, according to the Daily Star .

The France international had been heavily linked with Old Trafford early in the summer transfer window, but his current club's transfer ban until January ended any hopes of luring him to the Premier League.

However, Jose Mourinho remains hopeful he can persuade Griezmann to join United in 2018, where he could link up with France team-mates Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial in attack.
