So two celebrity weddings took place on Saturday, Banky W & Adesua Etomi‘s wedding and that of Oritsefemi & Nabila Fash.
For Banky W and Adesua
Nigerian singer, Banky W, and Nollywood actress, Adesua, made their union legal just a day after their traditional wedding in Lagos. The ceremony was witnessed by family and close friends.
The venue of the court wedding was however not disclosed.
Their traditional wedding on Sunday which was the talk of social media discuss and hashtag BAAD had in attendance friends, associates and celebrities including Bovi, Basket Mouth, Kemi Adetiba, Tunde Demuren, Chigul, Lynxx, Juliet Ibrahim, M.I Abaga,Dotun Kayode, Toolz, Tolu Oniru, Linda Ejiofor, Sola Sobowale, among others.

However, Banky W and Adesua were criticised in some quarters for having a lavish wedding after claiming in the past not to have a lavish one.

For Oritsefemi & Nabila Fash
Unlike Banky W and Adesua, Oritsefemi's final wedding is coming up eight months after his court wedding to Nabila Fash.
The Ajegunle-born singer is set to tie the knot in a society wedding, holding today in Lagos. The wedding ceremony took place at The Ark, Okunde Blue Water Drive, Lekki, Lagos according to report. The dress code of the day was gold and purple.
The couple had a private civil wedding in April, this year, and the groom has been passionate about his love for Nabila, who is a PR expert working with Multichoice.
According to the pop singer, Nabila accepted him despite having three older children from previous relationships.
Oritsefemi was quoted as saying earlier this year that he had a prior plan to have a destination wedding like 2Baba and Tiwa Savage, but he decided against it because he wanted people around him to be a part of it.
