STRIKE UPDATE: NASU Boils in UNIOSUN as Union Allegedly put off Power Plant at Main Campus [Full Gist + Photo/Video]

A2satBlog gathered that Noises could be Heard From the Senate Building At The Main Campus of Osun State University, on Monday Morning as A cross section of workers from Osun State University, under the auspices of Joint Action Committee(JAC) which comprises all non-teaching staff voiced out over unpaid arrears of some items of the Earned allowances from 2009 to 2014.

According to reports which were earlier received by A2B, the workers have accused the Vice-chancellor of the university, Prof. Labode Popoola of financial mismanagement and lack of administrative acumen In a press release signed by the Chairman of SSANU/JAC, Comrade Lekan Adiat, that of NASU, Comrade I.M, Fayemi, and his counterpart from NAAT, Comrade Ismail Adeleke, a copy which was made available to journalists on Friday

Most of The Lectures meant to be held this morning were put to hold as the workers who were chanting in front of the Senate Building Match in group straight to the Power plant section to disconnect the Generator supplying the Whole Campus this could be seen in a Video received on our YouTube Channel.

Although, The Absence of Lecturers in some classes today may be attributed to the fact that the lecture-free-week commences today but most Students could agree to the fact that The Strike is the Main Reason behind it.

News are being circulated that ASSU have joined the strike but according to the view of things as stated by our Correspondent, NASU are likely the Only Union seen to be on Strike.
