GhenGhen: Uniosun 100 & 200Level students to come with Cutlass This Monday [See Why]

News reaching us at A2SATSBLOG has instructed all 100 & 200Level students at the main Campus of Osun State University to come along with Cutlass tomorrow for what was stated as TREE PLANTING.

The students are to be accompanied by their level advisers, HODs & Deans. The Tree Planting session would be the first to occur at the institution.

Tree Planting Project on Campus is a session whereby Students would however plant trees and possibly look after it till they graduate. The Tree Planting session has been well adopted in universities abroad and some universities in Nigeria as well. It's however a great step by the school in maintaining Environmental Stability.

Kudos to the school Management for this thoughtful project!

With respect to tree planting, the DVC (Admin and Dev) has directed that all 100 & 200 Levels students along with Deans, HODs and level advisers should be at Olagunsoye Oyinlola Main Auditorium at 10am on Monday 17/06/2019 for operational strategy on how to actualise the project.
Level advisers should come with attendance sheets for the purpose of attendance. Each student is expected to come with a cutlass to  dig a hole. Let's disseminate the information to all concerned as a matter of urgency bcus this is rainy season.
