Multiple reports have confirmed that El Clasico is postponed to Wednesday 18 December 2019 due to the ongoing Catalan protest in Barcelona .

The match is scheduled to be played at Barcelona’ s Camp Nou stadium on 26 October.

But due to the current Catalonia protest, La Liga asked that the game be reversed to Madrid ’ s Santiago Bernabeu .

That proposal has been rejected by both clubs and with such a fluid period of unrest in Catalonia, the possible option left is that the match is pushed back by two months .

Now that Spanish FA ’ s Competition Committee has also rejected the idea of playing the game in Madrid , the game is bound to be postponed to Wednesday 18 December .
