A2B Album Review: Olamide's "999", A disastrous EP or An Epitome Of Good Music [Let's Discuss]

OLAMIDE 999 EP A WACK EP OR A POORLY HYPED BUT GROUND SHAKING MASTERPIECE EP

Hello, welcome back to A2SATSBLOG's Album/Music Review, thanks for your comments and contributions on our previous review (Emaxee Vs Destiny Boy, who Nailed the.... >>>> READ HERE). Well, the matter on the desk today is no other big deal than the just released EP 999 by the King of the Street himself, Olamide.

However it has been just few hours since the release of the EP of the moment 999 and lot of comments have started sweeping in as the airplays keep doubling up.

Many can't help but blast OLAMIDE for making them a Jibish and lowly hyped EP. They surely detest how the street king himself will drop an EP like a freestyle which met the street unaware.

Secondly, the tracks and Artistes featured on the EP were surprising, People are not so familiar with most of them (I'm sorry if I say I'm not familiar with them either). All these people were expecting something that will make them GBE BODY o, but guess who got disappointed.

Well on the good side of it, others see the low hype and poor PR for the EP as a Reference on reminding y'all who the king is over here unlike some that will do anything to pull out a publicity stunt ahead of the release of a single track self (I sha no mention name daakun) well Wizkid did the same last year by shocking us with a surprise EP, but Hey! We are talking about the Present not the past (Shey o ti ye e!).

The king lion doesn't need a speaker to roar but a dog definitely needs a sound system and good sound equipment to produce something equivalent (Choi, I don dey hurt people's feelings, listen, good talent stops nonsense!).

Unlike the minority who doesn't feel the vibe of the EP, others are extremely joyous about the fact that the old Olamide is back and this time not just the Street king but he rules the world of rap as well, no doubt (abi u wan say pim, make I sound you).

The whole tracks in here were purely mastered and yeah, it's 90% trap music (like damn! Since when has he been writing this?).

No lame lines so far and we are still counting more punchlines every minute (My guy, we go tire for this counting o, I'm telling you).

Somebody should hand an Hennessy over to Badoo when next they see him, Bill's on me.

IN CONCLUSION, WE RATE OLAMIDE's 999 EP (8/10)

No doubt, all the songs in the tracklist are timebombs that will take over every corner of the country shortly (you heard it from me first).

And yeah my favorite is "Rich & Famous"

So let's hear from you, is OLAMIDE 999 EP A DISASTROUS EP OR AN EPITOME OF GOOD MUSIC.

Quick one, I only shared nothing but my thoughts in here and not that of all members of A2SATSBLOG at large, feel free to let us know what your thoughts are also via the comment section.
