We all thought Mercy Ekeh, the Winner of Big Brother Pepper Dem Edition of 2019 was not interested in the show when she came out weeks ago to tell the world that she had better things to do with her time.

Her statement did not sit well with Nigerians especially those who voted her during her time.

She has since then tried to do all what not as damage control as many Nigerians called her an ingrate for calling their effort bluff.

We knew that she Nicodemusly was rooting for Erica but since she was disqualified she had recently channeled her energy and votes to Laycon.

We do not know if this is part of her damage control but we are loving it.

Mercy really surprised everyone especially her fans as she took to her Instagram story to share a photo of Laycon and captioned it saying:

Laycon has really tried like he's been up back to back. He deserves to be a finalist.

Laycon is one of the male housemate who is blessed with a lot of fan base across Africa. I observed that many celebrities love the vibes Laycon bring and had made efforts to support him.

Though some think otherwise. They think his votes are all pity votes. Well, time shall tell.
