Just In: Students Nearly exchange Fists at Uniosun over Classroom.. The cause, How it started and How it was Settled [Photos]

A report was forward to us about how students engaged in a mini-combat over Classroom at the main campus of Osun State University situated at Oke-Baale Osogbo this Morning.

How it Happened

Source: The issue started this morning after we(Anatomy and Physiology 200level) received a lecture(8-10am) at the lecture Theatre(where the 100level students do receive their lectures).

We were asked to leave after our class because they were said to have a class by 10am so we left humbly for our Class at Tetfund building where we would be having our next lecture.

Few minutes later, some of them showed up in our class again, asking us to leave that they want to use our class, They came along with a lecturer who addressed us to please leave.

But we told him we can't, because we are having a lecture by that time and there is no other place to use for our class.

While a discussion was ongoing between our Class rep and the lecturer, The students(100level) start entering the class, I think this infuriate some of my mates and the next thing we heard was noise, and some of them begin to exchange words with about four of us(Girls).

Our guys got much more annoyed by this act and walked up to them, some of them exchanged fists but were immediately cautioned.

How it Was Settled

Few minutes later, the security people showed up at the scene to settle things and the CSO was also present.

One of our mate was taken away by the security and we all followed them up to seek for her release, While on Our way she collapsed and was immediately rushed to the health center for medical attention [as at the time of gathering this report, she's been said to have woken up and now feeling fine].

The Provost also showed up as fast she could to address us all in our Class, also The Dean of Student Affairs and Some comrades also show up to calm us down and all was settled.

Few minutes later we were all asked to leave for our various Hostels.
