Many Students have been left in Shock by the sudden Report which popped up today ordering the immediate Vacation of Students On or Before 4pm Today, which happens to be the Second Week on the School Calendar.

Is this A Strike? Of Course Not.

A2B reports that, Just Yesterday reports were circulated by all Student's Presidents in The various campuses Telling Students To disregard any information on Protests holding Today which sounds Strange, And raises Questions like... What Protest? Who are those that wanted to Protest? E.t.c

New developments shows that this sudden Vacation is a Result of the ongoing Notorious Act Of Non-Teaching Staffs under the guise of Unionism, Which the School think poses Threat to Students and properties.

NOTICE OF CLOSURE OF THE UNIVERSITY

The Governing Council of Osun State University has approved the closure of the University with immediate effect. This is sequel to the notorious activities of some non-teaching staff members under the guise of unionism.  These activities now pose danger to lives and properties within and around the university campuses. 

Management wishes to sincerely apologize to parents, guardians and students for any inconveniences that this closure may cause. Efforts are geared towards addressing the prevalent lawlessness, finally. 

We urge our law abiding staff and students to remain calm and stay away from the campuses in the mean time.

At the last End, A2satBlog gathered that students of The State Owned Varsity have been ordered to Vacate school immediately(Today) For security reasons as stated by the Popular campus Blog Olofofo Uniosun.

The Dean of Students Affairs; Dr Adepeju Adigun has confirmed the immediate vacation of students across the six campuses based on cogent reasons.

While conversing with Olofofo Uniosun correspondent, she however stated in her message that students are to vacate the school premises immediately.

“As regard the on going JAC strike UNIOSUN CHAPTER, the security report shows that the school authority have to protect the life and property of the student, therefore the management direct the immediate vacation of all students across the six campuses on or before 4pm today 28th may 2018”

The Dean also apologized to students and parents for the unusual action which is targeted towards safeguarding lives and properties.
