BREAKING: Nigerian Lawmaker , Funke Adedoyin Is Dead [Cause of death Revealed]

Hon. Funke Adedoyin , a member of the House of Representatives , representing Irepodun / Isin Ekiti/ Oke Ero constituency of Kwara state, has been reported dead .

The deceased who was a member of the People ’ s Democratic Party (PDP ) died while treating an ailment suspected to be cancer .

A source close to the family said that the 54 - year - old had a cancer operation about two years ago, while she had been in and out of the country for medical attention since then .

She was appointed Health Minister by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in his first term (1999 - 2003 ).

Hon. Adedoyin was among the host of lawmakers who joined the All Progressives Congress (APC ) in a mass defection from the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) early this year
