A Mild Drama took place Earlier This Wednesday at Osun State University when The Gate of the Institution was locked down and a Protest was stagged.
A2B gathered that A group of the Non-academic Staff Union Locked The School main Entrance, leaving Graduands, Lecturers, Students and well wishers no other option than to Walk all the way down to the School Auditorium where the ceremony was taking place.
"Some Parents who brought Food to the ceremony had to stay outside and Eat under the sun and some inside the car" A Student relayed to A2satsBlog Correspondent.
"The Protest was allegedly staged Because of no Payment of Salary" A Parent who was faced with disblief reported. When asked to give the school an advice, she said "The school should kindly pay them up, we all know what it feels like when you work all day long and failed to get paid"
"This isn't the first time NASU would be stagging a Protest over non-payment of Salary but this coming up on Convocation Day when some parents have even rented Tents is Dramatic" a Student cried out.
It should be remembered that The School reffered to the acts of the NASU as Notorious few months back.
It was disclosed that the Gate remain locked till the whole ceremony was over.
Many feared this may happen again today, Thursday and may lead to a greater Drama as the school would be receiving The Vice President, Osinbajo at the Final Ceremony.
