Auditions for the 2019 edition of reality television show, Big Brother Naija kicked across parts of the country on Friday and social media has been rife with stories of youth fainting at the audition groundsowing to the massive crowd at each venue.

Nigerians have blamed the failed government, the ongoing ASUU strike and increasing unemployment for this turnout as it is clear that young people are seeking every alternative means to escape poverty.

However, a Twitter user, @prime_tobbi has shared a new perspective to the BBNaija auditions suggesting that the individuals who will eventually make it into the house will not be picked from the thousands who are laboring at the auditions.
