Popular on Campus Blog broke the news moments ago and we just can't keep calm about it as GPF kicks to Hold its Life After School conference at Uniosun inorder to benefit the graduating Students.

The Great People Foundation; a non-governmental organization is set to hold a Life after School conference themed “The 21st Century Graduate”.

 

The Life After School Conference is slated to hold on 1st August, 2019 at Olagunsoye Oyinlola Hall, Osun State University, Osogbo campus. The conference will commence at 11a.m.

The President of the foundation; Mr Joshua Aluko told Olofofo Uniosun correspondent that the conference will have top CEOs lecturing youths on how to prepare for life after school and while in school. There will be award of tuition scholarships to students and the conference will include games and entertainment.

He however lamented the drastic change in “Life after School” compared with what it used to be twenty years ago.

“Hmmm…I realised that life after university education has drastically changed from what it used to be 20 years ago. Life is now much more than graduating and getting a job. However, many youths are oblivious of this reality” – Aluko said.

He added that the essence of the conference is to get students ready for the 21st century reality of the business world.

“So for the purpose of getting them ready for the 21st century reality of the business world, we came up with the program tagged “LIFE AFTER SCHOOL CONFERENCE” with the theme “The 21st Century Graduate” – he added.

Great People Foundation is a non-governmental organization that has awarded both partial and full scholarships to students of Osun State University.
