WiseRent Launches as a User-Friendly Digital Platform to Help Nigerians Find Genuine Homes
Finding a genuine house to rent in Nigeria has become increasingly difficult. Many renters face fake listings, unclear property information, and time-consuming searches that often lead nowhere. These challenges have made house hunting stressful for the public and inefficient for landlords and property professionals.
WiseRent, a digital rental platform developed by Oluwatobiloba Adetoye, has officially launched as a solution designed to make house renting easier, more organised, and more reliable.
The platform introduces a structured and safety-focused approach that is considered one of the first of its kind in Nigeria, combining verified property listings with controlled access to agent contact details.
WiseRent focuses strongly on user experience, allowing renters to search for homes through structured listings, clear property descriptions, and simple filters such as location, price, and property type. This helps users find suitable homes faster and with greater confidence.
Unlike many existing platforms where fake or duplicated listings are common, WiseRent prioritises verified and genuine properties. Listings are managed under defined platform guidelines to reduce misleading information and improve trust among users searching for homes.
WiseRent also introduces landlord and agent support features. Property owners can upload and manage their listings directly on the platform, giving them better control over how their properties are presented while reducing unnecessary intermediaries.
A standout feature of WiseRent is its controlled contact access system known as WiseCoin. This system is designed as one of the first structured verification access tools within Nigeria’s rental marketplace. It helps ensure that only genuinely interested renters can unlock agent contact information, reducing unserious enquiries and improving safety for property professionals.
Speaking during the launch, Adetoye explained that the platform was created to solve long-standing frustrations experienced by renters and property owners.
“WiseRent was built to help people find real homes without the usual stress and uncertainty,” he said. “We are introducing a system that focuses on verification, accountability, and simplicity. Our goal is to create a rental experience Nigerians can trust.”
The launch of WiseRent represents a growing effort to introduce structure, transparency, and user-focused technology into Nigeria’s rental market.
