Ahh: Fans shocked at the recent pictures of Chinese actor, Jet Li as he's been battling Hyperthyroidism for Ten Years

The below pictures showing Jet Li looking frail were shared by a fan after he posed with the action star during a recent visit to Tibet.

The legendary Chinese Kung Fu movie actor looks this way because he suffers from hyperthyroidism, a heart condition that can cause fatigue and weight loss. He revealed he was suffering from the condition back in 2013 after he was diagnosed of it in 2010.

Just 4 years ago Jet Li was starring alongside some of the biggest action stars in the world in “The Expendables 3”. He now looks totally different form what he looked like then.

On Monday Li’s manager, Steven Chasman, said that it was just a bad photo of someone who is 55 years old.

“He has hyperthyroidism that he’s been dealing with for almost 10 years. It’s nothing life-threatening and he’s dealing with it,” Chasman told the Washington Post, adding that he has spoken with Li’s assistant.

Speaking about his condition, “I’m in pain, but I’m not suffering. I’m happy,” he said, adding that he takes medication.

Fans are however praying for the actor as many say the man in the pictures looks way older to be Li.
