Senator Dino Melaye and other leading members of the PDP clashed with members of the Police Force during a protest staged by the PDP in Abuja

The members of the People’ s Democratic Party (PDP ) at the protest ground alleged that they were attacked by the Nigerian Police Force .

The protest which was staged by members of the PDP including the Senate President Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representative, Yakubu Dogara , was carried out to demand that the Osun rerun election be canceled .

The protesters alleged that they were being teargassed by members of the Nigerian Police Force .
