Union Of Campus Journalists, UNILORIN chapter, has come out to debunk rumors of 'loss of lives' at the accident that occurred today at the main campus of University of Ilorin, A2satsblog Media reports.

A2B Media reported earlier about the UNILORIN Korope Accident that occurred in the early hours of today, Thursday 18th of July, 2024 (READ HERE).

In response to the incident which has now landed UNILORIN on the number one trending topic in Nigeria, UCJ_UNILORIN, cleared the air on Twitter by assuring Nigerians that all students are currently under intensive care and there's no death record yet in contrary to information making rounds online.

This triggered many people who felt the handler was probably not revealing the truth about the health status of the students.

"So the dead body of the girl on the floor was toy?" A twitter user with handle @Marvinsurprises challenged the statement, making reference to the lifeless body of the female student that was captured in the viral video.

"The video doesn't bring justification to the status of the victim, being unconscious doesn't equate death" UCJ_UNILORIN ascertained.
